Join a dynamic and highly collaborative team focused on providing essential system engineering support to a range of security applications.


Seeking a Systems Engineer that is a motivated self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environments, able to suggest and implement solution concepts, working cross-functionally with other software and system engineers to enhance the mission-critical initiative.


In this role, you’ll be contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of security sustainment systems, supporting the integration of Javascript front-end applications (Angular.js, Vue.js, Node.js).

General Role Responsibilities:


  • Act as a pivotal team member, partnering with the Lead Systems Engineer and Government stakeholders to determine project priorities and objectives.

  • Perform in-depth requirements analysis and contribute to formalized process designs, ensuring systems are scalable and secure.

  • Lead efforts in preparing system engineering documentation, providing vital customer support, and focusing heavily on testing processes to guarantee seamless functionality.

  • Collaborate in system releases or migrations, ensuring seamless transitions to new environments.

  • Engage with security teams to address compliance issues and actively resolve outstanding security concerns.

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve system performance issues to ensure the highest levels of reliability and operational integrity.




Required Skills & Experience:


  • Experience with Systems integrating with Javascript front-end applications (AngularJS, Vue.js, Node.js)

  • Proficiency with system releases/migrations

  • Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve system performance issues to ensure seamless transitions to new environments

  • Strong working knowledge of security application system integration

  • Hands-on experience executing and documenting test procedures for complex systems

  • Experience performing in-depth requirements analysis / contributing to formalized process designs for scalable and secure systems

  • Experience in developing system architecture diagrams

  • Working knowledge of 508 compliance and system accessibility

  • Experience working with end-user clients, addressing problems and executing on solution efforts

  • JIRA experience




Required (Soft Skills):

Degree / Experience Requirement:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, with 6+ years of professional experience - (OR) - 10+ years of professional experience, in lieu of a degree




CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

MUST HAVE AN (ACTIVE) TS/SCI W. FULL-SCOPE POLYGRAPH CLEARANCE

  • Experience with more than (1) federal government system modernization initiative

  • Experience with 508 Compliance and system accessibility measures

  • Someone who has worked on a mission-critical DoD system before

  • Experience managing Jira & Confluence
